Trying to help your child often does not work

Recently a mom who is a teacher at the local high school called because she tried and tried, but could not help her own 8th grade daughter with her math. It is almost impossible to be teacher and mommy too. Parents who try often find they become their child’s worst enemy. You would rather be a best friend.
